The purpose of science is to understand our surroundings in a logical manner and apply this realization for the benefits of mankind. We aim to understand important and interesting natural processes; i.e., physical, chemical and biological functions, using statistical mechanical tools and dynamical systems theory and design efficient systems to perform the desired actions using the same. The first part of our research activity contributes towards basic sciences and the second part to technology.
